Think. Reason. Question. Experiment. These are just a few of the skills and qualities that children will develop at Little Munchkins. Since our founding in 2004, we’ve focused on guiding and supporting our kids through all of their childhood transitions and nurturing and encouraging them to become the most independent, inquisitive, enlightened, social and overall best versions of themselves possible.
All activities are designed to adequately nurture the emotional and intellectual growth of our children. Through stimulating situations and hands-on learning opportunities, our young children are free to develop into bright young minds.
We adhere to strict child protection and safeguarding policies to keep our kids safe and adopt comprehensive transition schedules with our feeder schools so that our children find starting Year R as easy as possible. We adopt Ofsted's view that learning in early years should be through play and fun, engaging experiences and opportunities to ensure that our "Little Munchkins" begin their journey at Infant or Primary School ready, eager and willing to engage and learn.

TAPESTRY - THE ONLINE JOURNAL TO KEEP YOU INFORMED OF YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING AND PROGRESS
At Little Munchkins, we record your child’s learning using the secure online journal company called Tapestry. You can access your child’s online journal as often as you wish, on many different devices from your phone to your PC. Tapestry allows us to instantly upload photos and observations of your child. You are then emailed to alert you that something new has been added to your child’s Learning Journal and you can then log on and view what your child has been up to. A massive advantage of this system is that you can instantly add your own comments to entries. The safeguarding of our children is very important to us. Anything that is added to Tapestry will be added to our school account and can only be viewed by our school staff who use the system, and yourself, using your own log on. Only you will have access to your child’s book; this cannot be seen by other parents. Another great advantage of this system is that we can give up to 4 different people access (with your permission) so parents who work away or grandparents can also have the pleasure of seeing your child's achievements.
